What’s better than the taste of summer?
Chirping birds, sun-ripened berries and butterflies that flutter from flower to flower. The essence of this summery mood is reflected in the Hammershøi Summer series, which was launched last year in two motif versions – one with summer berries and one with forget-me-nots.

Now, you can add a plate in each of the existing summer themes to your mugs and bowls to create an even more cheerful and cosy summer atmosphere when setting the table for coffee and tasty treats in the garden, on the terrace, balcony or at the summer house. Or enjoy summer to the fullest with the new motif of swallows and sunflowers.

Rikke Jacobsen is a Danish contemporary artist and ceramic designer who, with a special naturalistic and poetic touch, masters the simplicity of details in her often experimental and modern design. She has a strong sense of Scandinavian design tradition and identity, and has expanded her skills as a ceramic designer with a degree in design from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London.
