Big icons. Small sizes. With the Bear, Elephant and Hippo in mini format, you can’t help but bring big smiles to anyone who loves classic Danish design. And now, with the charming Liliput animals decorating your tote, you can show off iconic Danish design wherever you go – whether it’s Christmas shopping or a festive outing with friends. With its modern, minimalist look, you’d never guess the original figurine designs date back to the 1950s – just one more example of how Kay Bojesen had an unmatched gift for creating originals and shaping iconic designs that never grow old. In 1922, Kay Bojesen crafted his first wooden figurine, and ten years later, he opened a shop and workshop on Bredgade in Copenhagen. Ever since, Kay Bojesen has been synonymous with original Danish design and is known for his playful universe of iconic wooden figurines, created with incredible attention to detail, infused with humour and the joy of unique quality craftsmanship. That is why we say Kay Bojesen has been original since 1922. (GOTS ”Organic” Certified by Control Union, 1026087)

Liliput - Big icons in small sizes
The Bear, Elephant and Hippo have shrunk and are now, if possible, even cuter than before. The new sizes create fresh original stories made of wood, and the smiling lines in a miniature version can't help but make you smile too.
Small, mini, Liliput. Three of Kay Bojesen’s minimalist wooden figurines are now available in even smaller miniature sizes under the name of Liliput. Meet Bear 9.5 cm, Elephant 7.5 cm and Hippo, only 6 cm. Utterly irresistible and charming, these creatures are ready to bring joy to everyone who loves classic Danish design and Kay Bojesen’s smiling lines.
