Design With Light
'Design with Light' is a series of lanterns in mouth-blown glass with an organic design language and elegant design details. They create a cosy atmosphere both indoors and outdoors when the candlelight is reflected in the lantern’s soft curves. The mobile lantern is handmade by Holmegaard’s experienced glassmakers, and Maria Berntsen’s glass design and full-grain leather handle make it perfect for the terrace, living room or beach – wherever you need a warm glow in the dark and a cosy atmosphere. With glass and full grain leather, the series has a clean, Scandinavian look and functions as a mobile light source that, all year round, casts a very special light on your surroundings, regardless of where you place it.

Maria Berntsen
Maria Berntsen is a Copenhagen-based Danish designer who established Maria Berntsen Design Studio in 1992. Since then, she has worked independently with a wide range of Danish and international clients, including Rosendahl and Holmegaard.
