The delicate 18-cm Orangery vase is made of ceramic and is glazed in the elegant and natural light golden Sweet Honey. It is widest at the bottom, so there is plenty of room for water, but narrows towards the top, gathering the flowers beautifully. The vase is inspired by the orangery’s light, architecture, atmosphere and texture, and the many small windows that make up an orangery are reproduced as cut-out in classic shapes. Almost like a modern lace, it gives a peek at the stems of the flowers – exactly as though you were looking into an orangery. Every little cut is made by hand, just like the stylised birds in different shapes that adorn the outside. Beautiful ceramic craftsmanship from Kähler at its best.

Vibrant and illuminating ceramics
Orangery
Stepping into an orangery is like stepping into another world. Surrounded by plants, flowers and fruits, and maybe also birds and butterflies, you are enveloped in a very special atmosphere. You feel the warm, saturated air and the buzz of life.
Inspired by the architecture, special mood and texture of a light-filled orangery, Kähler has created the Orangery series, which comprises a lighthouse, vase and two tealight holders. All in glazed ceramic with the finest crafted details that make each design entirely its own.
